Prakruthi Punarjan is a voluntary internal program promoted by CPG BPM among its employees with an aim to rejuvenate Mother Nature. This program gives an opportunity to the like-minded employees of CPG BPM to come together with various initiatives that would contribute into sustainable environment rejuvenation. These programs could be initiatives implemented within the organisation and / or outside the organisation. This group of volunteers being environmentally responsible in their DNA does not go after grand social experiments, but keenly observe their ecosystem and come up with plans that would help bring about a sustainable positive change to the eco system.

As the First initiative, a team of 20 volunteers have come up with a program titled “Vanamahothsava” that plan to plant over Five Thousand trees in the vicinity of CPG BPM office at Bangalore and take care of them.

Officers of BBMP and Forest department have obliged to the request made by these volunteers and have provided healthy saplings of nearly Ten species of plants. The team has started this initiative since May 1, 2019. With a view to have an inclusive participation of the society, the teams have mobilised support of the local residents and companies to help in the initiative. The team is thrilled with the support and cooperation that is being offered by the society at large.

The “Vanamahothsava” by this team does not only focus on increasing the green cover over Bangalore and or planting and taking care of plants that provide shade and the much needed oxygen but also focuses on planting fruit bearing plants that would bring back birds and small animals that have become alien to the urban eco system. The aim is to create a forest like feel in the urban eco system.
