Kaabil is an initiative by CPG Excellence Centre Bangalore that focuses on skill development of youth who have moved and / or planning to move into the city of Bangalore in pursuit of a job but require skill enhancement to fit into the urban job market. This initiative focuses on rendering free skill development by way of a 100 hours certification programme that involves Personality development (that includes grooming, attitude, communication etc), basic computer literacy, awareness of Information Security and typing skills.
This absolutely free program with no strings attached is conducted over an 8 week period with a minimum of 2 hours of training on all working days (Monday to Saturday). Apart from the theory classes the candidates get ample time to practice their newly acquired skills on computers. On successful completion of this program, the candidates are given preference in employment with CPG BPM, however the candidate has the right to refuse employment with CPG BPM if they so desire, even after having undergone the training at CPG Excellence Centre. This training program is also being used by people who are employed in other companies but feel the program is useful to them to enhance their career reach.
A large number of youth have been beneficiary of this initiative by CPG Excellence Centre. Enrolment into this program is through word of mouth by CPG BPM staff and those candidates who have successfully completed this course and feel it is a valuable programme and their near and dear one’s are to also undergo this training as it would transform them. Candidates who attend interview in CPG BPM but whose candidature is rejected due to lack of the said skills are also getting benefited by this training program to upgrade their skills and boost their self-confidence.
